The Brooklyn favorite will serve Andrew Carmellini’s southern Italian flavors in a host of new dishes coming to the table this Christmas, including charred broccoli, spaghetti bolognese, and more. The three-course menu is paired with drinks, including Wayan’s signature “V” egg liqueur for a night sip. This Indonesian place in the heart of Central Park West in Manhattan, with an emphasis on local food and drink, is available for parties of 4 to 6 people ($688). The menu includes sambal terasi – braised short ribs, prawns, macaroni and cheese, pork belly, chicken and pork chops, shrimp and wagyu pork ribs, and a selection of seafood.
This year they have spiced up the festival with a two-person party that will last from December 23 to January 1. The menu celebrates everything from paneer paturi (cumin – fried fingers and potatoes) to wood chocolate yoghurt and panko bread. Orders can be placed online until December 16, but must be placed by December 23 at 21: 00 or picked up at the restaurant on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day from 11: 30 until midnight.
